Post Jam content update
I just released the updates that I had mentioned in my last post. The game now has a lot more enemies, about twice as many bosses, and is generally a bit more difficult. I've added a few new perks too. Mostly because, as I was reworking certain systems like player/enemy bullet patterns, certain types of perks (like modifying the trajectory or number of bullets the player spawns) became significantly easier to implement. Who knew writing modular code was beneficial to game development.
I'm fairly happy with where the game is at now for the time being, although I kind of gave up on reworking the music and mostly left it as it was during the jam. If I do end up adding any more to this it will probably be on the smaller side, like adding perks or updating some of the art.
