Updates on planned changes


I mentioned in my previous post that I was planning to add more content to this game, and I've mostly implemented everything I had planned to do. Changes include:

  • More floors, as well as breaking up the existing floors into three distinct "zones" with their own visual distinctions, enemies, and bosses.
  • Roughly double the number enemies and bosses
  • Tweaks and changes to a few of the existing bosses and enemies to make them a bit more interesting or challenging (Specifically Zod)
  • General visual polish, balance, and a few bug fixes

Before I actually release any of this I want to do another pass on the sound effects and music as the game feels pretty barren from an audio perspective. I'd preferably like to get this done and released before the next GWJ to get it out of the way.
